SAFETY

Students and teachers cannot succeed in environments where safety and classroom order are constantly disrupted.

Across AUHSD, many teachers and families have expressed concerns about rising behavioral issues, lack of accountability, bullying, classroom disruptions, and insufficient administrative support.

Germaine believes compassion and accountability must work together. Students deserve supportive schools, but they also deserve safe classrooms where learning can happen without constant disruption.

Germaine’s Priorities:

  • Restore accountability for student behavior

  • Improve campus supervision and responsiveness

  • Support teachers and staff dealing with classroom disruptions

  • Address bullying, vandalism, and student misconduct

  • Reinforce attendance expectations and school decorum

  • Create learning environments where students feel safe and focused

Germaine believes strong schools require clear expectations, consistent discipline, and a culture of respect for students, teachers, and families.

Safe Schools Must Come First
